Bye-Law Filling Loops

• Under the requirements of the new water regulations, the installation of the filling loop is as follows
• The position of the double check has changed
• The double check valve must be fitted on the mains cold water side of the hose and service valve must then be fitted on the heating side
• Once the system has been filled it is still a requirement to remove the flexible hose bridging the gap between the two
• However this small change creates a significant problem. With the double check valve now fitted on the mains cold-water side, it is essential that the method of isolation is also provided
